A historic Victorian building in the heart of Sydney’s CBD, home to Alpha Restaurant and Beta. Alpha is the premier Greek restaurant, while Beta is a private event venue that contains two contemporary & elegant spaces. Both represent a new vision for hospitality and events in Sydney.
Within Beta there are two luxury event spaces, The Grand and The Gallery. Both event spaces are perfect for cocktail parties, product launches, roundtables, conferences and special gala dinners.
Before the completion of the Sydney Opera House, Town Hall was the largest indoor venue and the first public space to be equipped with permanent electric lighting. singers, dancers and musicians performed from the stage of Centennial Hall and through recordings and radio broadcasts, they were able to reach a wider audience.
Step inside 238 Castlereagh Street to find a collection of spaces to host from 5-500 guests, multi-level events and culinary experiences designed to bring people together. It’s a building designed to tell a story, a striking balance between new age and timeless details and all housed within a stunning heritage-listed building and sitting between Hyde Park and Castlereagh street.
